1 Ounce Winter White Truffle --  For a short time in late fall and early winter, tuber magnum - or white truffles appear in the hardwood forest of Northern Italy.  The flavor of white truffle is exotic and difficult to fully describe - it must be experienced!  For gourmands, white truffles are enjoyed raw, shaved directly onto warm dishes to release their garlicky, nutty pungency that is unlike any other aromatic in nature.
